My sweet boy is named Oliver, after his second set of shots, he got really sick, puking and pooping blood, cronic diarrhea, growling belly. After 5 years of trying absolutely everything, I was giving up. Then I came across this product. After reading up on it, it was worth a try, and thank goodness I did. Oliver did so well, in no time, he was eating, and playing, even got the zoomies which was so funny. His personality changed, his appetite was better, he chewed a bully stick for the first time and didn't puke. I can't tell you how greatful I am for this company and this product. Oliver is finally on the mend, and squeaking his toy as we speak, as a mom of a 14 pound sweet boy, I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Legacy Biome 🙏 Thank you ❤️
We've gone from the squirts to greater food aborption, firming stools and reduced agitation. Don't know if my boy will ever be able to eat "everything", but he is stabilized and putting on some weight.
This has made the most difference of all of the things we've tried (probiotics, herbs, etc). We're raw feeders and opt for natural remedies first.
Thank you for this product.
Fabulous product to restore gut microbiome. Reduced my dog’s belching, flats and soft stool in 2 weeks. I tried several probiotics with dome help. Legacy biome worked like a charm!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're glad to hear you noticed an improvement in your pet's appetite, as that can be an encouraging sign of progress. However, we understand it’s disappointing when the primary concern isn’t fully resolved. In more chronic or severe cases, it often takes more than one bottle to see the full benefits of FMT treatment.
We recognize the investment this requires, and we’re here to support you in any way we can as you navigate your pet’s health journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team directly if you have any questions or would like to discuss next steps.
Thank you again for giving our product a try and for your feedback—it helps us continue to improve and support pets like yours.
I bought this product after working with my dog’s issues for more than a year. My dog is raised COMPLETELY holistically and fed a species appropriate unprocessed diet since birth.
I had questions prior to purchasing and had some back and forth emails with the company. I then purchased and used approx 1//2 the bottle before my dog caught on to the capsule smuggle and started spitting them out. She’s a 3lb dog so smuggling the capsule in whatever is difficult.
She’s improved for sure. It’s hard to know if it’s this product or the year-long attempts have finally caught up and helped overall. Since I can’t get the capsule down her I’ve moved on to something else that seems to be working. I’ll try again when necessary.
I think this is a good product made with good intentions. However, interactions with customer service leave a LOT to be desired.
The company’s website and verbiage is self-contradictory regarding delivery of the product as the idea is to get this product through the stomach to be maximally effective. On the one hand, opening the capsule is discouraged but when questioned about getting the capsule into such a small dog it was recommended that the capsule be opened and sprinkled into the food. When I responded with their own verbiage about doing this, it wasn’t well received nor properly addressed or explained.
They had a great Black Friday deal and I have more than one dog (4lbs) so I bought another bottle. Shipping was delayed 4 times by the shipping company. I emailed about whether or not this delay would affect viability and got no reply. I emailed again - 4 times in total - and got no response at all. If they hadn’t already emailed a few times with me previously, I might believe they didn’t get the emails. Instead, I think they just didn’t like the questions and didn’t want to deal with me.
This is the kind of product that creates questions and needs responding to. Choosing to ignore customers and their questions is an integrity flaw, imo.
I think it’s a good product under the right circumstances and for the right issues. Nothing works 100% for everyone. It’s an expensive gamble for most people and questions come with that. Responding to questions can help with expectations.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Healthy Gut Restore. We’re glad to hear your dog has shown improvement with our product.
We regret the delays in both our communication and shipping. Canada Post’s recent strike caused a surge in demand for UPS, leading to delays that were unfortunately beyond our control. Additionally, your emails were mistakenly directed to our spam folder, and once discovered, our response was unfortunately delayed by a few days.
We understand how frustrating this must have been and appreciate your patience. Your feedback is valuable, and we’re actively working to improve our processes. We hope to have the opportunity to support you and your dog again in the future.
I tried another brand twice, got so so results back and nothing changed in regard to behavior/energy. However, I cannot be sure how many capsules made it to the right area intact. With mediocre success but a need to try this again after antibiotics, I tried Legacy along with a homeopathic protocol and a PEMF mat. Three weeks into the Gut Restore and our heeler is back, sassier than ever. She takes the capsules down in a blanket of peanut butter and I am 95% sure they arrive to the gut intact. I am a believer in the process and definitely in this brand.
I've been struggling with my dog's gut health ever since he had giardia several years ago. I feel as though I've literally tried everything to heal him: elimination diet, acupuncture, every probiotic under the sun etc! I had read about FMT and came across Legacy Biome via recommendation from Connor at Dogs First. These pills have been the only thing that have shown any promise of improving my dog's gut. Slowly changing this microbiome is helping to address gut inflammation, unhappy **** and skin itching. It's not a quick fix though, so expect to invest in at least 6 month's worth of pills. The price is a bit staggering, but worth it if it heals my dog. We're still on the healing journey.
My dog has been taking these for over a month,he is a little better,he has started to do some formed stools some of the time,he has liver disease,he doesn't have much energy, but he is eating well and he has the capsules in his food and doesn't mind, so I hope he will keep making improvements.
In the 2nd. bottle 23 days in ,maybe a lill better.Male 13 yo dog has had bad poops for mts. this is pretty much last attempt.
My dogs got was a mess. He developed a massive yeast overgrowth throughout his body. After just a few weeks he’s improving rapidly. I’m thrilled that my dog can finally feel relief.
Jasper as puppy was plagued with a stubborn protozoan infection that ruined his gut. He lost all appetite and had horrible diarrhea plus he became fearful of things that did not bother him before. He completely changed and for years he ate only one protein and nothing else. He saw 6 vets in two years but none really made difference. I tried animal biome fecal pills and made no impact. My holistic vet wanted to do actual fecal transplant but I am battling an illness and could not make the drive, so I decided to order Margo Roman’s fecal pills via Legacy Biome instead. At first he had liquid diarrhea but LB suggested spreading them out over longer intervals. I gave him SachB on alternate days. His stool the day of dosing was not good but the next day was perfect stool. I could see the fecal pills were making a difference when he would show interest in eat foods he never wanted before like veggies. I check his stool everyday and for the first time it is the right color, the right consistency, and size. We are slowly making progress and he will continue to get these fecal pills. I pray it holds and continues to seed in his gut. So far I am very pleased, this has been a very good outcome.
This medication seems to be helping great with our Pittie with Stomach aliments as he had diarrhea on going off and on since May after this she seems to be coming back to her normal self
My 11 y/o husky was diagnosed with Cancer. I'm treating her Holistically and my vet did a Microbiome test. My vet recommended doing a Fecal Transplant. I felt it was to invasive and she also recently had surgery. I figured this was easier to do and worth a try. So far it seems to be helping.
It is so amazing to have a product that you can rely on that actually does what it says. My dog had a pretty tough gut infection . Antibiotics didn’t fix it. I try never to give antibiotics to my dog, but this was a case where I was worried and I gave in to the vet. I contacted Legacy Biome after the round of antibio did not work and asked them if their product could possibly fix what was happening with my dog. They said it could, and it did. These will always be my go to for my dog’s gut issues and wellness. I’m thankful for the product and for the company. Great people to work with.
